Using LookCue

Agreement to these terms

By using LookCue, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app or comparison service.

What LookCue provides

LookCue lets you compare a reference makeup look with your own attempt and receive AI-generated guidance about visible makeup. LookCue may update, change, or discontinue parts of the service as it develops.

Eligibility

Use LookCue only if you can legally agree to these Terms where you live. If you are not old enough to agree on your own, use LookCue only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian.

Your photos and content

You are responsible for the photos and other content you choose to submit. You keep your rights in your content, and you give LookCue permission to process it only as needed to provide, protect, and improve the requested comparison service.

Do not submit content that you do not have the right to use, that violates another person's privacy, or that is illegal or harmful.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse LookCue, interfere with the service, bypass limits, reverse engineer the app where law does not allow it, use automated tools to overload the service, or use LookCue for unlawful or harmful activity.

AI-generated guidance

LookCue provides general makeup guidance generated from the photos you choose. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unavailable, and it may not reflect every detail in a photo.

LookCue does not guarantee identical makeup results. Results can vary based on lighting, camera angle, image quality, products, technique, skin, and other factors. LookCue is not medical, dermatological, cosmetic-treatment, or professional advice.

Subscriptions, billing, and renewal

LookCue Pro is an optional subscription. The purchase screen shows the current price, renewal period, and other Apple purchase information before you buy. The current paid offering is LookCue Weekly.

Payment is charged through your Apple account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel through your Apple subscription settings before the next renewal. Apple controls billing, cancellation, and any refund request where applicable.

Restore Purchase

If you previously purchased LookCue Pro, use Restore purchase in Settings while signed in to the same Apple account that made the purchase. Restoration depends on Apple's and RevenueCat's subscription information.

Apple Standard EULA

Your license to use the LookCue iOS app is also subject to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

Intellectual property

LookCue, its app design, software, and service content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not give you ownership of LookCue or its underlying technology.

Third-party services

LookCue relies on third parties, including Apple, RevenueCat, OpenAI, and hosting providers. Their services and policies may affect availability, payment, data handling, or features outside LookCue's control.

Availability, suspension, and termination

We try to keep LookCue available, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. We may suspend or end access to protect the service, comply with law, or address misuse.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

LookCue is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LookCue is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app or guidance.

Changes and contact

We may update these Terms when LookCue or applicable requirements change. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
